I am dedicated to helping clients manage their weight effectively and enhance their self-defense skills, thereby reducing the mental and physical challenges associated with obesity and promoting overall well-being.
Background and Experience:
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I currently reside in Maryland. My journey into fitness began during my high school years while working at McDonald's. At 18, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an Administrative Specialist, where I earned my Green Belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). After my military service, I transitioned into the fitness industry to pursue my passion for health, wellness, and martial arts.
Education and Certifications:
To further enhance my expertise, I earned an Associate Degree in Exercise Science with an Emphasis in Personal Training from Lionel University. This program provided me with a comprehensive framework in personal training concepts and skills, preparing me for entry-level positions as a personal trainer and equipping me with the knowledge to pursue advanced degrees in related fields.
Currently, I am expanding my skill set by attending the Carpentry Pre-Apprentice program at Woodland Job Corps Center. This hands-on training focuses on preparing students for successful experiences in Registered Apprenticeship Programs, emphasizing safety, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
